It was the day after Christmas and my daughter kept asking me to ride her new hover board she had gotten, and I kept saying, “No I will fall off of it”. She kept insisting I ride it and you probably know where this story is going. To make a long story short, I rode it and fell off of it breaking the radial head in multiple pieces. This happened around 9:00 pm and I had already made up my mind after it happened that I was not going to the emergency room that night as the pain was minimal. I knew first thing the next morning I was going to call Bluegrass Orthpeodics. The only opening they had was for the clinic in Georgetown and without any hesitation I said I will take it. It is well worth the two plus hours it takes to get there from my hometown. The x-ray confirmed the fracture and they scheduled and MRI and appointment with Dr. Donegan. Needless to say he explained the procedure and how he was going to try and put the fragments back together, if not he would have to put an implant in for my radial head. He answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Central Baptist was awesome as it was an outpatient procedure and everything went great. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Donegan and the staff at BO. I would refer any of my family and friends. Thankfully my movement is as well as it was prior to the accident if not better..Very satisfied and grateful.

We can not say enough good things about Dr. Kevin M. Denehy, and his staff. Not only is Dr. Denehy an outstanding surgeon but he has an amazing bedside manner. We went to see if after consulting another surgeon and liked what he had to say. My mother needed a full knee replacement at 85 years old. I was concerned with her being put under general anesthesia due to complications for someone her age. Dr. Denehy suggested a spinal which was the perfect solution! The other surgeon stated my mother would have to go to rehab for two weeks, Dr. Denehy said she could go home as long as someone stayed with her for 48 hours. He is concerned with possible infection at a rehab. The nurses at Baptist raved about him, said he had the lowest infection rate in the hospital and they would recommend him for their family. Anyway, 9 weeks post opt, my 85-year-old mother has completely recovered and no longer needs to do physical therapy. 2 weeks post-op she could walk without her walker

Dr. Donegan was an answer to my prayers. Constant pain from a previous shoulder surgery that has not gotten better. Dr. Donegan accessed it and after looking at x-rays and CT scan verified his opinion. Surgery scheduled with hopes of a much less painful 2020. Will die a follow up review post surgery.

I called and got right in to see Dr Christian Christensen ...I loved him, trusted him, loved his staff and three days later he partially replaced one of my knees !! Dr. Christemsen did a total knee replacement on Oct. 2007. I had surgery on Mon., got out of hospital on Thurs. and was at our church yard sale on Sat., without a cane or walker. He had prayer for me before surgery. I thank GOD for the knowledge and talent that HE has given to Dr. Christensen. I think most importantly you need to do the therapy as I think it helps you to have a speedy recovery. I'm now going to have surgery on my other knee soon. I highly recommend him and his staff.
