Bluegrass Orthopaedics and Hand Care Research is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bluegrass Orthopaedics and Hand Care.  The Research Division allows BOHC physicians and patients to participate in the trials of cutting edge technology and drug therapies to elevate and enhance patient care. 

The Research Division works with some of the nations most noted and advanced health care companies to study various pain management alternatives for both acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions.  In addition, new drug and device trials are available in our clinical facility as well as in the surgical setting for a number of indications such as total joint replacements and spinal surgeries.

Patient participation, in research trials, is always voluntary.  Patients accepted into the Research programs are monitored closely, and on an individual basis, for extended periods of time to ensure high quality outcomes.  Patients receive all health care testing, treatment and monitoring, related to their participation in the research trials, at no cost to them.
