Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Wallace Huff, along with Michael Blackburn, PA-C, serves athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for the local area school district in Mount Vernon with athletic trainers caring for the student-athletes of Rockcastle County High School.

Dr Huff was right there when I needed him. My femur broke on a Saturday evening and Sunday morning at 7am he opened the operating room, got his staff and took care of me. He had also been persistent in getting me on Forteo to help my bones, and after three months has succeeded in doing so. He is therefor his patients. I highly recommend him and his staff.

With a very long history of orthopedic issues, I saw Dr. Harrod for a new issue with my right foot. I could tell he was more than interested in my past issues and really listened to what I had to say. Dr. Harrod provided a couple of...With a very long history of orthopedic issues, I saw Dr. Harrod for a new issue with my right foot. I could tell he was more than interested in my past issues and really listened to what I had to say. Dr. Harrod provided a couple of options that did not include surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Harrod and, if need be, will see him again should I continue to have issues with my foot.
