This doctor was the best doctors that has ever treated me. I had total knee surgery five years ago, from Dr. Rollins in mount sterling, the knee hurt me for five years. After hurting that long,with no help from Rollins.
I was referred to Dr. Christian from a friend. I went to him, and Lord and Behold he took me as a patient. On December 11, 2019,he did my total knee replacement over. The surgery was a total success. I have been pain free for two months!!! Great Doctor!!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long Wait Despite Excellent Care
I felt that I received the best possible care. But my wait prior to actually seeing Dr. Christensen was unusually long. My appt was for 2:15pm, I arrived and checked in at 2:00pm, but did not actually see Dr. Christensen until 5:00pm. I had to drive back home to Jackson County in the dark and it was raining. My vision in the dark is poor so it took me an extra hour longer to get back home. Where it would normally take me 1-1/2 hours to drive home, last Thursday it took me 2-1/2 hours.

I have had surgery performed by Dr. Christiansen three times: Partial knee 10 years ago, total in 2014 & total in 2018. He is a caring Christian man and an excellent surgeon. He spends a lot of time with patients preparing for surgery. Follow up is usually with PA. He & all staff are professional & I would recommend him to anyone - relief of constant pain is a blessing.

I am totally pleased with the care & treatment provided by Dr. Christensen and his team during the 15+ years I have been a patient. I had TKR's on both knees in past year & while the recovery was a challenging & painful process, I am 100% pleased with the results. He was always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. His PA's Matt & Evan are the best! And, Dr Christensen referred me to awesome Physical Therapists: Chris for in-home PT & Bethany for outpatient PT at Blue Grass Orthopedics.
Painful Muscle Spasms After Hip Surgery
Replaced both hips right in july/ left sept of 2018. Both went well even the nurses couldn't believe I was walking so well from both surgeries so soon in Nov with no pain. Now my left hip in which they said was in worse shape due to a cysts they felt like it wasn't going to be a prob and it may not be, but I'm having these painful muscle spasms in left calf that hurts all day long to where I can't walk nor stand for a long per of time. Hope they fiq out the pro. Both dr and staff are wonderful.

Speedy Recovery After Knee Replacement
Dr. Christemsen did a total knee replacement on Oct. 2007. I had surgery on Mon., got out of hospital on Thurs. and was at our church yard sale on Sat., without a cane or walker. He had prayer for me before surgery. I thank GOD for the knowledge and talent that HE has given to Dr. Christensen. I think most importantly you need to do the therapy as I think it helps you to have a speedy recovery. I'm now going to have surgery on my other knee soon. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Exceptional Knee Replacement By Dr. Christensen
Knee Replacement
Dr Christensen is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. I presented him with a complex broken tibia and knee dislocation that Drs in Louisville botched with 4 surgeries. Dr Christensen never promised perfection but he surely came close. I also had been infected with MRSA. He worked through the infected leg and ultimately put me a knee replacement. I have my leg back under me and my life with mobility back. Thank you Dr Christensen for your skill, prayers and patience.
If you need a knee or hip surgery, he’s the best I know of.
Finest Doctor With Caring Bedside Manner
One of the finest doctors, if not “the” finest doctor I have ever had. I had prior hip replacements, years ago. I needed a hip revision and couldn’t find a doctor to attempt to do surgery on me, because of the complications I previously had and some I was still having. I was referred to Dr. Christensen, he went above and beyond to help me. He has a great bedside manner and is such a wonderful, caring physician.
