He explains all procedures completely and leaves the decisions up to you. Sometimes you have to wait for your appointment because an emergency has arisen, but one must remember one's own emergency that brought one to his office in the first place, and it is well worth the wait.

Getting appointment was within a couple weeks, so it was timely. Staff was friendly. Office was bright, clean. I was called back before I could finish my paperwork. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big...I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big toe joint, the recovery time would be 3-4 months. I was surprised but pleased that Dr. Harrod told me that he could fix my bunion problem, but advised me to wait until I was having difficulty walking. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff at Bluegrass Orthopaedics, and with Dr. Harrod's professionalism.
