Dr. Donegan is the best!! I have never had a physician that makes me feel at ease in a medical office as Dr. Donegan. His personality is such a plus when you go see him. I trust him and believe in him with whatever he recommends for me. He operated on my shoulder a couple of weeks ago, and I feel that he did an awesome job!! He would be my #1 recommendation for a shoulder surgeon!!

Rotator cuff surgery. Excellent professional doctor. Explained everything to me before surgery; explained it to where I understood what he was going to do step by step. Super nice young man. He and all his workers are top notch people. You didn't have to sit and wait forever to get in to see them. Any phone call question I had, they was very nice and answered my questions. Checked on me after I got home. I would recommend Dr. Donegan to do this surgery on anyone with ease. What a great team. Thank you sir and your staff for treating me like a person and not a dollar. Excellent physician

I had total reverse shoulder replacement surgery in Sept. 2016 and have my 6 month post op visit with him this month. He is a Godsend to me. He explains everything in detail, answers every question no matter how silly is seems. Waiting time is minimal. I understood everything regarding what I could expect. Fantastic doctor/surgeon and he has a fantastic staff. I trust him completely.

Dr. Donegan performed shoulder surgery on my mother a few months ago, and he did an amazing job. He is a wonderful doctor and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I have since taken my son to bluegress ortho as well. I will never go anywhere else for ortho care.

Dr. Donegan takes in to account all variables when making a diagnosis. He is patient about his approach to resolving a shoulder issue with physical therapy, injections etc. before making a decision that a surgery is necessary. He and his staff are very approachable and helpful. He has done one surgery on my shoulder and will be doing another that is needed on my bicep tendon in a week. I would highly recommend Dr. Donegan. He is very respected among his peers.

This was the best experience with a physician's practice ever. From the moment I walked in the door, through the registering, nurse, PA, and especially the x-ray tech.....all quick yet thorough. Dr. Donegan was on time and very understanding. Lucky me.

In first meeting the office staff. They were prompt and friendly all were willing to lend a helping hand. In meeting Dr Donegan, his bedside manor was warm and caring and making sure that I was understanding all of what was being said. I will admit after speaking with him I still dread surgery...but with God and his hands doing the surgery I know I will do fine

It was the day after Christmas and my daughter kept asking me to ride her new hover board she had gotten, and I kept saying, “No I will fall off of it”. She kept insisting I ride it and you probably know where this story is going. To make a long story short, I rode it and fell off of it breaking the radial head in multiple pieces. This happened around 9:00 pm and I had already made up my mind after it happened that I was not going to the emergency room that night as the pain was minimal. I knew first thing the next morning I was going to call Bluegrass Orthpeodics. The only opening they had was for the clinic in Georgetown and without any hesitation I said I will take it. It is well worth the two plus hours it takes to get there from my hometown. The x-ray confirmed the fracture and they scheduled and MRI and appointment with Dr. Donegan. Needless to say he explained the procedure and how he was going to try and put the fragments back together, if not he would have to put an implant in for my radial head. He answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Central Baptist was awesome as it was an outpatient procedure and everything went great. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Donegan and the staff at BO. I would refer any of my family and friends. Thankfully my movement is as well as it was prior to the accident if not better..Very satisfied and grateful.

Dr. Ryan Donegan is compassionate, kind and he really cares about people. His sincerity shows in everything he does. I wouldn't go to any other orthopedic practice besides BGO! I have known Dr. Donegan for a long time and I have seen him interact with his patients, and he is always personable and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend Bluegrass Orthopedics!

He was very informative & helpful! He answered all of our questions (and we had a lot). Very descriptive when he explained my procedure & what is wrong with my shoulder! Even showed us a video of the procedure to help understand better.

Dr. Donegan is wonderful he does everything he can to try and figure out any problems you may have and listens to you to understand your problems, now the guy under him totally different doesn't have the time of day for you always in hurry rushing and doesn't listen to what you have to say. Doesn't seem interested in your problems at all. Don't want to ever see him again. But well worth going just to see Dr. Donegan excellent doctor.

Would highly recommend Dr. Donegan. I tore my labrum in my right shoulder, and he really knew how to fix it correctly. This was my first ever surgery and he walked me through it with ease and made me feel comfortable. Throughout the recovery phase he really kept me in the loop with what I needed to do and answered all my questions. I have another surgery on my left shoulder, and I will be returning. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good shoulder surgeon.

Dr. Donegan was an answer to my prayers. Constant pain from a previous shoulder surgery that has not gotten better. Dr. Donegan accessed it and after looking at x-rays and CT scan verified his opinion. Surgery scheduled with hopes of a much less painful 2020. Will die a follow up review post surgery.

Dr. Donegan was fantastic. He is definitely all about making sure the patient comes first. He explains everything and gives you a timeline about your injury so that you can make a educated decision. He had to jump through hoops to get everything approved. My shoulder surgery went well and I would recommend Dr Donegan highly.

Great service, experts and excellent providers.

First of all he's a good man. The surgery went great . Small issue with removing nerve block pump at home. Now going through recovery and waiting for the long physical therapy process. I have no doubt that Dr. Donegan along with Bluegrass Orthopedics that i will hopefully get as good as i can be .

I can’t brag on Dr. Donegan enough. I saw him for an injury after being completely written off by another doctor. He reviewed my scans with me and explained what he was seeing and for the first time in the three months since my injury I feel like someone is actually doing something to help me. Great bedside manner and very knowledgeable!

First ever visiting but was a great experience

I was referred to Dr. Donegan with a shoulder injury. He determined physical therapy would be more appropriate than surgery. I found Dr. Donegan to be very professional with a great personality. His care and consideration facilitated my efforts to resume a 'normal' level of physical activity.

I have been with Dr. Donegan for over a year. He has treated me for a shoulder injury. I have been so thrilled with my care. Everyone at BGO has been courteous, caring and professional. Dr. D is highly experienced and goes above and beyond to make sure I will be healthy and healed. I HIGHLY recommend Bluegrass Ortho for physical therapy as well.
