Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Vasicek in 2006. Another physician in her practice insisted I did not have a torn rotator cuff, because it was not visible on the MRI. He grew frustrated with my continued pain and immobility and...I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Vasicek in 2006. She felt that I did have a tear and actually found two during the surgery. She listens carefully, retains your information and keeps careful notes. I have complete confidence in her abilities.

He is so knowledgeable and personable to boot! I have a history of blood clots and even though I tried to talk him into just taking aspirin after surgery, he insisted on my taking Eliquis. Good thing, because even on that RX, I began to develop a clot in my leg. He responded appropriately and I won’t argue with him again! He was100% right! I highly recommend him!
