Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.

The office staff were ready for me as soon as I walked through the door. After I filled out some information, it was a couple of moments and I was told that he was ready to see me. As the doors opened, there stood a nurse to take me to a room. Dr. Donegan came in within a few mins. He was very nice, listened to me and looked me in the eye while I talked also, when he spoke. Dr. Donegan is wonderful along with his staff. Dr. Donegan is a FIVE Star!!

Dr. Lockstadt is professional, proficient, kind, and attentive. He has performed several operations on my back and I am healing very well. His follow up care and attention to detail make the experience that much better.

I've been seeing Dr. Balthrop for a year now. He is a really good doctor. He listens to what a person says and asks. His answers are direct and to you, not at you. He gives all the information on any procedure that you are concerned...I've been seeing Dr. Balthrop for a year now. He is a really good doctor. He listens to what a person says and asks. Be extremely hard to find a better doctor than Dr. John Balthrop.

There have been times when he advised surgery (for my husband once and for me once) and other times when he has advised other treatment. Both times, our surgeries were very successful. I have had surgery performed by Dr. Christiansen three times: Partial knee 10 years ago, total in 2014 & total in 2018. He is a caring Christian man and an excellent surgeon. He & all staff are professional & I would recommend him to anyone - relief of constant pain is a blessing.

He is the best! I’m completely satisfied with my bilateral knee replacement that was done in 2001. Yesterday I had X-rays and my knees are still perfect! I had my surgery on the 4th of Dec 18 on my right knee with a total knee replacement and now I'm having total knee replacement on my left knee on the 14 of Feb. 19. I would highly recommend Dr. Denehy.
