Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.

He was very informative & helpful! He answered all of our questions (and we had a lot). Very descriptive when he explained my procedure & what is wrong with my shoulder! The combination of those two things makes you feel like the most important person in the room, and it shows he truly cares. I would recommend him with no reservations whatsoever.

Dr. Christensen is amazing. His assistant Brittney, is amazing also. I very highly recommend them. The Specialty Surgery Center was outstanding. Dr. C needed an Xray prior to my hip replacement. An XRay tech came in early to do it. Unfortunately, I don't know her name,however, she was awesome too. I couldn't recommend both the health care and the facility any higher. This was my second encounter with the surgery center and Dr. C., which I think speaks highly of both.

From my first visit to the time of my OUTPATIENT hip replacement yesterday everything was as professional as a well oiled machine, but also personalized. My assigned nurse called this morning to check on me. Almost no pain at all. It has been a day and a half and my main concern is not overdoing my movement, cause I feel like I could generally do anything I wanted to do. Thanks to Dr. Balthrop and his first rate staff!

Dr Christensen is an amazing surgeon, he saved my leg from amputation and replaced my knee. He is a kind and gentle man. He is very thorough and tells you straightforward answers. Dr. Donegan did right shoulder surgery on me on 7/23/19. I got through surgery just fine and my rehab is going great. Dr. Donegan and his staff are awesome.
