Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.
Dr Harrod is a patients doctor. Easy to speak with. Compassionate. Sympathetic toward your problem . Explains diagnosis and offers solutions. I trust him fully. A true professional.

As for our family, we would give him 10 stars. Can not imagine anyone having a bad experience with him or his staff. Third time dealing with him in last 1 1/2 years, last time he joked with us that we could just stop by and say hello ,...As for our family, we would give him 10 stars. I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big...I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big toe joint, the recovery time would be 3-4 months. I was surprised but pleased that Dr. Harrod told me that he could fix my bunion problem, but advised me to wait until I was having difficulty walking. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff at Bluegrass Orthopaedics, and with Dr. Harrod's professionalism.

I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong. He found a herniated disc and recommended surgery which I had four months later. That was four years ago and I have no problems with my back today....I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong. He was a wonderful and caring doctor that took time with me and my husband to explain everything. I would recommend him to anyone.

Aside from being a phenominal surgeon he shows great compassion for his patients.
For anyone needing a knee or hip, you will not find a better surgeon.

We can not say enough good things about Dr. Kevin M. Denehy, and his staff. Not only is Dr. Denehy an outstanding surgeon but he has an amazing bedside manner. We went to see if after consulting another surgeon and liked what he had to...We can not say enough good things about Dr. Kevin M. Denehy, and his staff. Not only is Dr. Denehy an outstanding surgeon but he has an amazing bedside manner. We went to see if after consulting another surgeon and liked what he had to say. My mother needed a full knee replacement at 85 years old. I was concerned with her being put under general anesthesia due to complications for someone her age. Dr. Denehy suggested a spinal which was the perfect solution! The other surgeon stated my mother would have to go to rehab for two weeks, Dr. Denehy said she could go home as long as someone stayed with her for 48 hours. He is concerned with possible infection at a rehab. The nurses at Baptist raved about him, said he had the lowest infection rate in the hospital and they would recommend him for their family. Anyway, 9 weeks post opt, my 85-year-old mother has completely recovered and no longer needs to do physical therapy. 2 weeks post-op she could walk without her walker
