Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.

I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big...I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big toe joint, the recovery time would be 3-4 months. I was surprised but pleased that Dr. Harrod told me that he could fix my bunion problem, but advised me to wait until I was having difficulty walking. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff at Bluegrass Orthopaedics, and with Dr. Harrod's professionalism.

This was the second knee replacement that Dr Christensen has done. Both are so much better than before. Dr. Christensen is great at putting worries at ease before surgery.

Dr Huff did a total knee replacement for me in January 2018. He and all of his staff both at the hospital and during follow up visits were extremely efficient, polite, and accommodating to any concern I expressed. Dr Balthrope is a straightforward guy that gets you up and out of the hospital quickly. I have had 2 successful Hip replacementments, 1 knee replacement and a shoulder repair.

Dr. Balthrop is an excellent doctor. I have had one knee replacement done last October and the other one done February 25 and I have done well. Excellent Doctor. Dr. Hunt treated my achilles, 5th metatarsal, and calcaneus injury. He repaired my foot so I may walk again. I would recommend Dr. Hunt to anyone for any orthopedic injury. Wonderful staff as well.
