Garrett Gunter, PTA

Biography

Garrett Gunter is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Bluegrass Orthopaedics. He earned his Associate Degree in Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale.

Garrett enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and is passionate about helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

His approach to patient care centers on building trust through open communication and compassionate care. Garrett strives to ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their recovery journey. He believes patient education is a key part of successful rehabilitation and takes time to help patients understand their diagnosis and treatment plan so they can actively participate in their care.

What motivates Garrett most is seeing patients make meaningful progress and helping them get back to doing the things they love.

Outside of the clinic, Garrett enjoys being involved in his church, spending time with family and friends, and participating in a variety of sports and outdoor activities, including running, basketball, golf, and football.
