Biography
Mandy Flaig is a Doctor of Athletic Training who brings a well-rounded, performance-focused approach to patient care. She earned her Doctorate of Athletic Training from Indiana State University, along with a Master of Science in Sports Administration with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletics and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She is also a certified yoga instructor, adding an additional layer of movement awareness and recovery expertise to her work with patients.
Mandy’s clinical experience spans both collegiate and professional athletics. She currently serves at Asbury University and has previously worked with Low-A and AA affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles, as well as the Evansville Otters, Midway University, and Kentucky State University. She has a strong interest in caring for baseball and football athletes, helping them perform at their highest level while reducing injury risk.
Her approach to care is rooted in treating the whole person, addressing both the physical and mental aspects of recovery. Mandy is passionate about guiding patients through every phase of their journey, from the moment of injury to a confident return to play.
Outside of work, Mandy enjoys reading, baking bread, hiking, and spending time with her dogs. A fun fact about her is she even has her own professional baseball card.
