Biography
Theresa L. Hobson is a dedicated Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping patients regain movement and confidence, especially in the early stages of recovery. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and has advanced training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Dry Needling, and McKenzie techniques.
As a Home Health Physical Therapist, Theresa values the opportunity to treat patients in the comfort of their own homes, allowing her to provide personalized, one-on-one care in a familiar environment. She has a special interest in post-operative total knee and hip rehabilitation, where she focuses on setting a strong foundation for long-term success.
Theresa’s approach to care centers on education, patience, and hands-on treatment. She works closely with both patients and their caregivers to ensure a clear understanding of expectations throughout the recovery process. Her treatment style includes assisted motion, edema control, and early-stage exercises designed to promote muscle reeducation and restore joint mobility. She is motivated by helping patients make meaningful progress early on, supporting better outcomes after surgery.
Outside of her work, Theresa enjoys reading, walking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud grandmother of two.
