He explains all procedures completely and leaves the decisions up to you. Sometimes you have to wait for your appointment because an emergency has arisen, but one must remember one's own emergency that brought one to his office in the first place, and it is well worth the wait.

I had an appointment with Dr, Favetto; I never saw him but his physician assistant, Chester. There was no waiting. He was fine. He examined me, ordered an X-ray, and sent me to have a cast for my thumb ligament tear. I never waited more than a few minutes. For common injuries like mine, physician assistants do as well as M.D.s .

Successful Tendon Surgery And Rehab
Dr. Favetto performed surgery on my left hand due to a tendon that snapped due to RA. The surgery went great and the tendon repaired. After great therapy at BGO and follow up visits with Dr. Favetto I have full use once again of my hand. I have nothing but great things to say about BGO, from the surgical staff to the rehab department. Everyone is very friendly, caring and Dr. Favetto takes the time to answer any questions I have. When I knew right away that I had broken my wrist hiking, I called Dr Favetto’s office directly. He had successfully repaired a nasty elbow fracture three years earlier on my other arm. Dr. Favetto is amazing. I walked into his office in pain and walked out pain free. He completely explained my condition and my options so that I could make an informed decision. I chose a steroid shot for my hand and it worked miracles. He also told me that the length of the pain relief would differ from patient to patient and that would further help me to decide if I wanted to have surgery for the arthritis. Dr Favetto was thorough, and to the point during my visit. He answered all my questions and concerns about my injury. He explained in detail what I can expect over the next few weeks and months with my healing and therapy. I have been very concerned about the loss of feeling due to my injury and he offered me sensible answers and practical options if the feeling does not return in a reasonable amount of time. He has a pretty good sense of humor too.
The staff is great as well.
BGO does run behind schedule but I attribute that to them doing what is needed to be take care of the people they are seeing.
