Bluegrass Orthopaedics on Richmond Road has 8 physicians and 6 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This orthopedic clinic is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. On the first floor of this location houses the Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center. The Richmond Road Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, hand therapy, bone density testing, and EMG testing.

Dr. Christensen did a hip replacement for me in 2006 and bilateral knee replacement on 4/28/17. Today is 6/30/17 and I am done with therapy and doing most anything I want. I had prior hip replacements, years ago. I needed a hip revision and couldn’t find a doctor to attempt to do surgery on me, because of the complications I previously had and some I was still having. I was referred to Dr. Christensen, he went above and beyond to help me. He has a great bedside manner and is such a wonderful, caring physician. I would refer him to anyone and I will always remember how nice he has been to me. Thank you so much Dr. Christensen, May God bless you!

I would have to rate Dr. O'Neill as excellent. Not only is he competent, but very knowledgable. He did carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand in 2009 and I have had NO residual numbness. I started having pain in my thumb joints in... I would have to rate Dr. O'Neill as excellent. Not only is he competent, but very knowledgable. He did carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand in 2009 and I have had NO residual numbness. I started having pain in my thumb joints in November, 2015 and the pain remained constant. I saw Dr. O'Neill in May, 2016. He recommended injections and advised they may be painful. I had them in both thumbs and by the next day, I have no pain in my thumbs joints! I am extremely satisfied!

Each time that I have visited BGO I have been treated with the utmost respect and concern for my health and welfare. Dr. Vasicek and her associates perform at the highest of professionalism. As for my knee replacement, the surgery went exceptionally well as is the post surgery rehabilitation. I would recommend Dr. Vasicek to anyone requiring orthopedic help.
