Ria Keegan, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Ria Keegan, PA-C, is a key member of Dr. Travis A. Hunt's spine team, where she helps care for patients dealing with a wide range of spine conditions; from chronic back and neck pain to disc injuries and nerve compression. With a background rooted in both athletics and emergency medicine, Ria brings a well-rounded, patient-first approach to orthopedic spine care.

Originally from Hebron in Northern Kentucky, Ria discovered her passion for medicine while working alongside Physician Assistants at the University of Cincinnati Emergency Department. It was there that she saw just how impactful and collaborative the PA role could be; not only in clinical skill, but in patient education and care. That experience confirmed her path. After completing her undergraduate degree at Transylvania University, where she was a collegiate Cross Country and Track & Field athlete, Ria went on to earn her PA degree from Lincoln Memorial University.

While she values the foundation built in emergency care, Ria knew orthopedics was where she could make the biggest difference in patients' long-term well-being. She takes pride in helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options clearly, and strives to make each visit a supportive, informative experience.

Outside of the clinic, Ria enjoys cooking (especially trying out new recipes on the weekends), running, cycling, and spending time with her beloved dog with a big personality. She's also an accomplished adventurer; having thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, a testament to her endurance and love for the outdoors.
