Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Travis Hunt received his medical education from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, completed his residency at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and served a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hunt is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Through his career, he has had many journal publications and book chapters. Dr. Hunt has privileges at Georgetown Community Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center. He also serves on multiple hospital leadership rolls, including Chief of Orthopaedics at St. Joseph Hospital and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Hunt is also the founder of the charitable organization "Kentucky Haiti Partnership".

I've been going here for years. I've been seen for my ankle, knee and shoulder. He has done MRI's on everything and ordered xrays when needed. He has always been so thorough and helpful. I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong. He found a herniated disc and recommended surgery which I had four months later. That was four years ago and I have no problems with my back today.... I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong.
