Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Travis Hunt received his medical education from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, completed his residency at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and served a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hunt is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Through his career, he has had many journal publications and book chapters. Dr. Hunt has privileges at Georgetown Community Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center. He also serves on multiple hospital leadership rolls, including Chief of Orthopaedics at St. Joseph Hospital and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Hunt is also the founder of the charitable organization "Kentucky Haiti Partnership".

I have had a few surgeries, and Dr. Hunt is very caring and compassionate. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel relaxed. He Fixed Me When No One Else Could. Dr. Hunt is awesome! I had a minor surgery, on my lumbar spine. A few months later, i was injured. I had to have 2 more surgeries and a lumbar fusion. He kept me in physical therapy, to keep my torso strong, for the surgery. Best move. I was up, walking around, on my own, a few hours after the surgery. He has a great personality! Jokes with me and is always ready to answer any questions I have. I've read some of these reviews and i don't believe they've saw the same doctor. He's a great surgeon and fixed me when others just wanted to shove pills, down my throat.
