Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Travis Hunt received his medical education from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, completed his residency at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and served a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Hunt is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Through his career, he has had many journal publications and book chapters. Dr. Hunt has privileges at Georgetown Community Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center. He also serves on multiple hospital leadership rolls, including Chief of Orthopaedics at St. Joseph Hospital and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Hunt is also the founder of the charitable organization "Kentucky Haiti Partnership".
Excellent Doctor. Dr. Hunt treated my achilles, 5th metatarsal, and calcaneus injury. He repaired my foot so I may walk again. I would recommend Dr. Hunt to anyone for any orthopedic injury. Wonderful staff as well.

If you really want help from someone who listens your with the right person. I’m 6 weeks out from a 3 level cervical fusion. My arm pain is gone and I’m now able to sleep in my bed. I've been going here for years. I've been seen for my ankle, knee and shoulder. He has done MRI's on everything and ordered xrays when needed. He has always been so thorough and helpful. He had no issues with signing forms for when in was in high school to get out of gym class until healed.

He Fixed Me When No One Else Could. Dr. Hunt is awesome! I had a minor surgery, on my lumbar spine. A few months later, i was injured. I had to have 2 more surgeries and a lumbar fusion. I had to have 2 more surgeries and a lumbar fusion. I still have pain, but that's to be expected, when you have a bunch of titanium, in your spine. He kept me in physical therapy, to keep my torso strong, for the surgery. Best move. I was up, walking around, on my own, a few hours after the surgery. He has a great personality! Jokes with me and is always ready to answer any questions I have. I've read some of these reviews and i don't believe they've saw the same doctor. He's a great surgeon and fixed me when others just wanted to shove pills, down my throat.

I have had a few surgeries, and Dr. Hunt is very caring and compassionate. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel relaxed. I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong. He found a herniated disc and recommended surgery which I had four months later. That was four years ago and I have no problems with my back today....I went to Dr. Hunt after a work injury and work comp doctors told me nothing was wrong. Dr. Hunt is amazing. After living in pain from previous failed back surgeries he was able to take away the majority of my pain. He always had my best interest in mind when deciding on best route of treatment
