Tricia Reilly: Comeback Champion

January 21, 2019

Bluegrass Orthopaedics' latest Comeback Champion is Tricia Reilly. While playing kickball in September of 2018, Tricia sustained a bimalleolar fracture of her ankle, which was close to a compound fracture.

"BGO got me in quickly and fit me in for an appointment with Dr. Jason Harrod. He and his wonderful staff welcomed me and kept me calm, but informed me that I would unfortunately have to have surgery. Dr. Harrod took his time to explain everything that I would be going through. He answered all the questions and worries I had."

Tricia had surgery on September 20th and began physical therapy about six weeks later. "Being an active person who enjoys sports and being outside, this was pretty hard to go through both physically and mentally. With the help from my physical therapists, I am happy to say I'm 100% back to my normal life and taking my dogs for jogs as well as going back to the gym! Thank you to all the PT staff and especially Dr. Harrod and his great staff!"
