Highly Recommend for TKR's I am totally pleased with the care & treatment provided by Dr. Christensen and his team during the 15+ years I have been a patient. I had TKR's on both knees in past year & while the recovery was a challenging & painful process, I am 100% pleased with the results. He was always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. His PA's Matt & Evan are the best! And, Dr Christensen referred me to awesome Physical Therapists: Chris for in-home PT & Bethany for outpatient PT at Blue Grass Orthopedics.

I had surgery on Mon., got out of hospital on Thurs. and was at our church yard sale on Sat., without a cane or walker. He had prayer for me before surgery. I thank GOD for the knowledge and talent that HE has given to Dr. Christensen. I think most importantly you need to do the therapy as I think it helps you to have a speedy recovery. I'm now going to have surgery on my other knee soon. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Christensen and his staff are excellent at what they do,- but of equal importance they seem to be very good people. Some medical experiences can be summed up as a staff that serves people but has a low level of respect for persons.... Dr. Christensen and his staff are excellent at what they do,- but of equal importance they seem to be very good people. Some medical experiences can be summed up as a staff that serves people but has a low level of respect for persons. This is NOT the case here. Dr. Christiansen reflects his commitment to good persons to serve people, and the person, by the staff members you encounter along the process to see the doctor or his capable PA Evan Hanson. I trust his medical skills, but I respect and equally value his personhood and those of his staff. Bonnie Crandall

The Specialty Surgery Center was outstanding. The nurses I had were, Tracy H, Janice, Lori ( OR nurse), Lesley (OR Tech), Elizabeth ( patient care tech). Dr. C needed an Xray prior to my hip replacement. An XRay tech came in early to do it. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, however, she was awesome too. I couldn't recommend both the health care and the facility any higher. This was my second encounter with the surgery center and Dr. C., which I think speaks highly of both.
