A Streamlined Method to be Seen Quicker
Bluegrass Orthopaedics invites patients to schedule telemedicine virtual video appointments as a convenient and secure alternative to in-person visits with one of our orthopaedic specialists. BGO's total joint specialist,Dr. Christian Christensen, is now offering this service for patients who qualify!
In order to qualify for a telemedicine appointment, Dr. Christensen is asking patients to do the following:
Patient must be 40+ years of age and have previously tried injections and physical therapy
*Questionnaires will be reviewed by our clinical team and the patient will be contacted by BGO*

I saw Dr.Balthrop for a knee injection. I have had two previous knee injections elsewhere that were horribly painful !!!! So I was dreading today so bad. I Literally never felt a thing . I had total reverse shoulder replacement surgery in Sept. 2016 and have my 6 month post op visit with him this month. He is a Godsend to me. He explains everything in detail, answers every question no matter how silly is seems. I could tell he was more than interested in my past issues and really listened to what I had to say. Dr. Harrod provided a couple of...With a very long history of orthopedic issues, I saw Dr. Harrod for a new issue with my right foot. I could tell he was more than interested in my past issues and really listened to what I had to say. Dr. Harrod provided a couple of options that did not include surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Harrod and, if need be, will see him again should I continue to have issues with my foot.
