A Streamlined Method to be Seen Quicker
Bluegrass Orthopaedics invites patients to schedule telemedicine virtual video appointments as a convenient and secure alternative to in-person visits with one of our orthopaedic specialists. BGO's total joint specialist,Dr. Christian Christensen, is now offering this service for patients who qualify!
In order to qualify for a telemedicine appointment, Dr. Christensen is asking patients to do the following:
Patient must be 40+ years of age and have previously tried injections and physical therapy
*Questionnaires will be reviewed by our clinical team and the patient will be contacted by BGO*

I had prior hip replacements, years ago. I needed a hip revision and couldn’t find a doctor to attempt to do surgery on me, because of the complications I previously had and some I was still having. I was referred to Dr. Christensen, he went above and beyond to help me. He has a great bedside manner and is such a wonderful, caring physician. I would refer him to anyone and I will always remember how nice he has been to me. Thank you so much Dr. Christensen, May God bless you!

Just had left leg total knee replacement. Will have to have right knee done in a few years. Plan to have Dr. V do that knee as well.

Dr. Donegan did a great job fixing my collarbone. It was broken in six places. He put in a plate and 12 screws. There were no problems during the surgery and my recovery was swift. He Fixed Me When No One Else Could. Dr. Hunt is awesome! I had a minor surgery, on my lumbar spine. A few months later, i was injured. I had to have 2 more surgeries and a lumbar fusion. I had to have 2 more surgeries and a lumbar fusion. I still have pain, but that's to be expected, when you have a bunch of titanium, in your spine. He kept me in physical therapy, to keep my torso strong, for the surgery. Best move. I was up, walking around, on my own, a few hours after the surgery. He has a great personality! Jokes with me and is always ready to answer any questions I have. I've read some of these reviews and i don't believe they've saw the same doctor. He's a great surgeon and fixed me when others just wanted to shove pills, down my throat.

They assigned me a surgeon at UK Orthopedics. This...As a medical professional, I had a work injury to my shoulder. I know of the competency and quality of care that Dr. Donegan gives his patients. Workers Compensation denied Dr. Donegan. They assigned me a surgeon at UK Orthopedics. This UK surgeon missed 2 major medical steps in my recovery. Dr. Donegan repaired my shoulder with quality recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Donegan if you have shoulder issues. You will not regret it.

Dr. Ryan Donegan is the best. I fell and broke my shoulder and did a lot of damage, and Dr. Donegan did my surgery and repaired the damage. Due to his great ability I am almost back to 100%. Dr. Harrod is friendly, very knowledgable, professionable and easy to understand. My experience was very positive. It is refreshing coming away from an appointment feeling that your doctor really cares and wants to help.
