A Streamlined Method to be Seen Quicker

Bluegrass Orthopaedics invites patients to schedule telemedicine virtual video appointments as a convenient and secure alternative to in-person visits with one of our orthopaedic specialists. BGO's total joint specialist, Dr. Christian Christensen, is now offering this service for patients who qualify!

In order to qualify for a telemedicine appointment, Dr. Christensen is asking patients to do the following:

  • Patient must be 40+ years of age and have previously tried injections and physical therapy
  • Complete the questionnaire
  • Upload X-Rays and any other images


    • *Questionnaires will be reviewed by our clinical team and the patient will be contacted by BGO*

    Dr. Christemsen did a total knee replacement on Oct. 2007. I had surgery on Mon., got out of hospital on Thurs. and was at our church yard sale on Sat., without a cane or walker. I thank GOD for the knowledge and talent that HE has given to Dr. Christensen. I think most importantly you need to do the therapy as I think it helps you to have a speedy recovery. I'm now going to have surgery on my other knee soon. I highly recommend him and his staff.

    I've been going here for years. I've been seen for my ankle, knee and shoulder. He has done MRI's on everything and ordered xrays when needed. He has always been so thorough and helpful. I currently have another knee injury and the E.r... I've been going here for years. I've been seen for my ankle, knee and shoulder. He has done MRI's on everything and ordered xrays when needed. He had no issues with signing forms for when in was in high school to get out of gym class until healed.

    This is the second (unrelated) injury I’ve had where I’ve had to consult Bluegrass Ortho and Dr. Harrod. The first requires surgery; the second did not. In both instances, from the receptionist all the way up to the great doc... This is the second (unrelated) injury I’ve had where I’ve had to consult Bluegrass Ortho and Dr. Harrod. The first requires surgery; the second did not. In both instances, from the receptionist all the way up to the great doc himself, everyone was courteous, polite, professional, and sincerely understanding and helpful of/to my injury. As for Dr. Harrod—Fantastic! Most importantly, he’s competent. Second most important, he explains everything to the patient and allows ample time for questions.
