Bluegrass Orthopaedics invites patients to schedule telemedicine virtual video appointments as a convenient and secure alternative to in-person visits with one of our orthopaedic specialists. BGO's total joint specialist,Dr. Christian Christensen, is now offering this service for patients who qualify!
In order to qualify for a telemedicine appointment, Dr. Christensen is asking patients to do the following:
Patient must be 40+ years of age and have previously tried injections and physical therapy
*Questionnaires will be reviewed by our clinical team and the patient will be contacted by BGO*

I liked Dr Vasicek very much. She took her time with me, explained everything & answered all of my questions without being in a hurry. She also addressed my knee problem that day & made the treatment plan to where most places the first...I liked Dr Vasicek very much. He listened to my concerns and scheduled injections for me for my SI joints, scheduled an MRI of my back, and upped my gabepentin which the insurance company had lowered because they didn’t want to pay for 3 times a day. In just 1 day back on 3 doses my back pain is so much milder! Thank you so much Dr. Lockstadt!!!

Dr. Favetto is simply the best. I have seen him off and on for at least 15 yrs. I first saw him after a complicated hand fracture when he was with Kleinert and Kutz. I later followed him to Bluegrass Ortho. Now he is treating my trigger...Dr. Favetto is simply the best. I have seen him off and on for at least 15 yrs. I first saw him after a complicated hand fracture when he was with Kleinert and Kutz. I later followed him to Bluegrass Ortho. Now he is treating my trigger fingers. He also operated on my son's left hand about 5 years ago (who is a violinist in the Cleveland Orchestra). My family loves Dr Favetto and won't stop anywhere until we get to him for any hand problems that come up. I also refer any patient of mine who has a complicated hand or arm problem to him.

Without reservation, I highly recommend Dr. Christensen and his staff! It is reassuring to have a doctor hold your hand and pray specifically for you just before he does surgery! Highly recommend Dr. Kevin Denehey! I've seen allot of Dr's over the years, and extremely happy I accidentally found all the Dr's at Bluegrass Orthopedics. Ive been out of work for 11 months and Drs i was seeing have still not helped me...Highly recommend Dr. Kevin Denehey! Everyone was very helpful to me and my daughter. She had ACL knee surgery and all went great. Dr. Donegan did all tests needed and listened to my concerns and explained everything so that I was able to understand what was going on with me, not in and out in a flash like most do. Dr. Donegan did right shoulder surgery on me on 7/23/19. I got through surgery just fine and my rehab is going great. Dr. Donegan and his staff are awesome.
