Bluegrass Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine location has 3 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This location is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. The Sports Medicine Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, a full Physical Therapy Clinic, and the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Be evaluated by our fellowship-trained orthopedic doctors and specialists at our Sports Medicine Clinic at our daily walk-in clinic! The "BGONow" sports medicine walk-in clinic is recommended for athletes of all ages who have sustained an orthopaedic injury within the last 72 hours, and is open:
Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM
Saturday Morning from 8:00-10:00AM (*Closed Holiday Weekends)
Be seen by an orthopaedic specialist with fellowship training, and save the emergency room expense!

Dr. Balthrop is an excellent doctor. I have had one knee replacement done last October and the other one done February 25 and I have done well. But I knew how good he was because he had done my Mom's in 2005 and she never had a bit of...Dr. Balthrop is an excellent doctor. I just love Dr. Oneil. I had surgery for carpal tunnel on both of my hands and I am now able to work every day painless and without visibility of my scars. This Dr. is the best. I had a reverse shoulder replacement after failing a previous regular...He is the most approachable & professional Dr I have ever seen. I am an RN with orthopedic experience & I have been so extremely happy with his care & expertise! I had a reverse shoulder replacement after failing a previous regular replacement followed by a fall & fracture after the first surgery. He let me know all my options & was totally open as to any possible complications. I am so happy with my outcome & recommend him highly to anyone especially anyone with a complex issue. Dr. Vasicek explained every procedure and showed me my MRI so I could understand what was wrong and what she could do for me. I was really in pain and I needed someone to help me, she melted all my fears and took action.
