Bluegrass Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine location has 3 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This location is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. The Sports Medicine Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, a full Physical Therapy Clinic, and the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Be evaluated by our fellowship-trained orthopedic doctors and specialists at our Sports Medicine Clinic at our daily walk-in clinic! The "BGONow" sports medicine walk-in clinic is recommended for athletes of all ages who have sustained an orthopaedic injury within the last 72 hours, and is open:
Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM
Saturday Morning from 8:00-10:00AM (*Closed Holiday Weekends)
Be seen by an orthopaedic specialist with fellowship training, and save the emergency room expense!

I had prior hip replacements, years ago. I needed a hip revision and couldn’t find a doctor to attempt to do surgery on me, because of the complications I previously had and some I was still having. I was referred to Dr. Christensen, he went above and beyond to help me. He has a great bedside manner and is such a wonderful, caring physician. I would refer him to anyone and I will always remember how nice he has been to me. Thank you so much Dr. Christensen, May God bless you!

My three visits so far left me feeling confident while in his care. He is professional and kind, and always ask if I have questions. I’ve been seen for each appointment in a timely manner. The facility for which he practices is clean and his assistants and receptionists are very welcoming. Should I need foot or ankle care in the future, I will return to Dr. Harrod.

He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He listens to what you have need of and gets to the root of the problem. I had a doctor before him for 4 years that just simply didn’t care about what my problem was and could have cared...He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He listens to what you have need of and gets to the root of the problem. I had a doctor before him for 4 years that just simply didn’t care about what my problem was and could have cared less about me being in pain. Dr Denehy got to the root of the problem and helped me and was very compassionate about my pain and was bothering me and did surgery on me and took care of me. I love him he is a wonderful man and doctor I would recommend him to anyone.
