Bluegrass Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine location has 3 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This location is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. The Sports Medicine Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, a full Physical Therapy Clinic, and the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Be evaluated by our fellowship-trained orthopedic doctors and specialists at our Sports Medicine Clinic at our daily walk-in clinic! The "BGONow" sports medicine walk-in clinic is recommended for athletes of all ages who have sustained an orthopaedic injury within the last 72 hours, and is open:
Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM
Saturday Morning from 8:00-10:00AM (*Closed Holiday Weekends)
Be seen by an orthopaedic specialist with fellowship training, and save the emergency room expense!
I was taken on time. All the staff as well as Dr Huff and his PA Mike are excellent. They answered all my questions and helped me too

Wow what a great place, we got there at 6:30am and they did a knee replacement surgery and we were home at 2:30 and the Doctor has call and texted us twice to check on us!! 10 ⭐️

I saw Dr.Balthrop for a knee injection. I have had two previous knee injections elsewhere that were horribly painful !!!! So I was dreading today so bad. I Literally never felt a thing . Getting appointment was within a couple weeks, so it was timely. Staff was friendly. Office was bright, clean. I was called back before I could finish my paperwork. I had a severely swollen and painful hand and after my family doctor called he got me in immediately and then also scheduled a followup a few days later. All while booked up and I didn't have more than 15 minutes wait. When I first saw Dr Lockstat, I was having so much pain that I had endured for over a year. After scans, etc he was very knowledgeable and explained in detail to me. He gave me the option to help me. My appointment with Dr. Veronica Vasicek was very good. The staff took the X-rays at the start of my appointment and she discussed them with me just minutes later in detail explaining what we were looking at and what implications...My appointment with Dr. Veronica Vasicek was very good.
