Bluegrass Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine location has 3 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This location is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. The Sports Medicine Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, a full Physical Therapy Clinic, and the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Be evaluated by our fellowship-trained orthopedic doctors and specialists at our Sports Medicine Clinic at our daily walk-in clinic! The "BGONow" sports medicine walk-in clinic is recommended for athletes of all ages who have sustained an orthopaedic injury within the last 72 hours, and is open:
Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM
Saturday Morning from 8:00-10:00AM
Be seen by an orthopaedic specialist with fellowship training, and save the emergency room expense!

He explains everything in detail, answers every question no matter how silly is seems. I have had 3 surgeries and will have 4th soon, all for different/unrelated problems done by Dr. Balthrop. He is fantastic! He does expect you to follow through with PT. I think it is 75% of the success of...Best Orthopaedic Surgeon Ever!
